Sold at the upper estimate price
The work Il trionfo di Cesare by Achille Funi was sold in the Arte moderna e contemporanea auction at Il Ponte in May last year. The auction ended at the price of EUR 15,000.00, which exactly corresponded to the upper end of the estimated price range of EUR 10,000.00 – 15,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Achille Funi - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Interno di studio, which sold at auction in May 2007 for EUR 37,200.00.
Zuschlag beim oberen Schätzpreis
Die Arbeit Il trionfo di Cesare von Achille Funi wurde im Mai letzten Jahres in der Auktion Arte moderna e contemporanea bei Il Ponte versteigert. Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von EUR 15.000,00 entsprach exakt dem oberen Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von EUR 10.000,00 – 15.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Achille Funi mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Interno di studio beobachtet, die im Mai 2007 für EUR 37.200,00 versteigert wurde.
