Auction result well in line with expectations
In July 2007 Christies in London held the auction Old Master and 19th Century Drawings, which included the work View of the Tiber, Rome by Achille Etna Michallon. The price achieved of GBP 4,800.00 (€ 7,129.11) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 4,000.00 – 6,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Achille Etna Michallon achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work A Valley In The Alban Hills With Travelers On A Road, A View of The Chigi Palace And Santa Maria Dell'Assunta Beyond in April 2006 with an auction result of USD 132,000.00 (€ 104,562.74).
Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit A Valley In The Alban Hills With Travelers On A Road, A View of The Chigi Palace And Santa Maria Dell'Assunta Beyond im April 2006 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 132.000,00 (€ 104.562,74).
