Auction result well in line with expectations

In May last year Bonhams in London held the auction Modern & Contemporary South Asian Art for a Pakistani Charity, the Welfare Society for Patient Care, which included the work Untitled (Woman) by Abrar Ahmed. The price achieved of GBP 828.75 (€ 974.95) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 500.00 – 1,000.00. Other works by Abrar Ahmed have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in May last year the work without title was auctioned for GBP 892.50 (€ 1,049.94).

Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen

Im Mai letzten Jahres führte Bonhams in London die Auktion Modern & Contemporary South Asian Art for a Pakistani Charity, the Welfare Society for Patient Care durch, in der auch die Arbeit Untitled (Woman) von Abrar Ahmed zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 828,75 (€ 974,95) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 500,00 – 1.000,00 angegeben worden. Andere Arbeiten von Abrar Ahmed konnten bereits höhere Auktionspreise erzielen, so wurde im Mai letzten Jahres die Arbeit ohne Titel für GBP 892,50 (€ 1.049,94) versteigert.
