The price achieved of GBP 3,500.00 (€ 4,027.82) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 3,000.00 – 4,000.00. Even if this result could not surprise positively, Portrait Of Lt. General William Hargrave is the most expensive artwork by Abraham Seaman that we have observed at auctions so far.
