Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Abraham Rattner could be acquired at Christies in New York in April this year for an unexpectedly low price. In the The Collector: New York auction, the work The Fall of Icarus changed hands for USD 1,638.00 (€ 1,483.70) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of USD 4,000.00 – 6,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Abraham Rattner achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work "Two Figures And Masks", Composition #3 in October 2016 with an auction result of USD 25,000.00 (€ 22,806.06).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Dieses Kunstwerk von Abraham Rattner konnte im April diesen Jahres bei Christies in New York für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion The Collector: New York wechselte die Arbeit The Fall of Icarus für USD 1.638,00 (€ 1.483,70) den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 4.000,00 – 6.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Abraham Rattner erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit "Two Figures And Masks", Composition #3 im Oktober 2016 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 25.000,00 (€ 22.806,06).
