This artwork by Abraham Rattner achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in New York in July 2008. In the Christie's Interiors auction, the work I Saw a Butterfly sold for USD 2,250.00 (€ 1,443.33) - well above the upper estimate of USD 1,200.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Abraham Rattner achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work "Two Figures And Masks", Composition #3 in October 2016 with an auction result of USD 25,000.00 (€ 22,806.06).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 88 % übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Abraham Rattner erzielte im Juli 2008 bei Christies in New York einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Christie's Interiors wurde die Arbeit I Saw a Butterfly für USD 2.250,00 (€ 1.443,33) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von USD 1.200,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Abraham Rattner erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit "Two Figures And Masks", Composition #3 im Oktober 2016 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 25.000,00 (€ 22.806,06).
