It achieved a price of GBP 2,422.50 (€ 2,756.06), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 62%. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Abraham Pether achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work A wooded river landscape, with a faggot gatherer on a bridge, cattle and sheep in June 2004 with an auction result of GBP 20,315.00 (€ 30,234.80).

Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von GBP 2.422,50 (€ 2.756,06) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 62%. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Abraham Pether erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit A wooded river landscape, with a faggot gatherer on a bridge, cattle and sheep im Juni 2004 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 20.315,00 (€ 30.234,80).
