Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Winter. Courtyard In Sovskaya Street, Kiev by Abraham Manievich was sold in the Russian Pictures auction at Sothebys in London in November 2017. The price achieved of GBP 37,500.00 (€ 42,568.08) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 30,000.00 – 50,000.00. Admittedly, works by Abraham Manievich have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Neige dans la forêt. 1913. in July 2021 with an auction result of CHF 305,300.00 (€ 283,992.82).

Die Arbeit Winter. Courtyard In Sovskaya Street, Kiev von Abraham Manievich wurde im November 2017 in der Auktion Russian Pictures bei Sothebys in London versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 37.500,00 (€ 42.568,08) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 30.000,00 – 50.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Abraham Manievich auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Neige dans la forêt. 1913. im Juli 2021 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von CHF 305.300,00 (€ 283.992,82).
