Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Abraham Manievich could be acquired at Sothebys in New York in December 2016 for an unexpectedly low price. In the Israeli & International Art auction, the work Town Under A Stormy Sky changed hands for USD 7,500.00 (€ 7,107.66) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of USD 8,000.00 – 12,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Abraham Manievich achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Neige dans la forêt. 1913. in July 2021 with an auction result of CHF 305,300.00 (€ 283,992.82).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Dieses Kunstwerk von Abraham Manievich konnte im Dezember 2016 bei Sothebys in New York für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion Israeli & International Art wechselte die Arbeit Town Under A Stormy Sky für USD 7.500,00 (€ 7.107,66) den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 8.000,00 – 12.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Abraham Manievich erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Neige dans la forêt. 1913. im Juli 2021 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von CHF 305.300,00 (€ 283.992,82).
