Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Abraham Manievich could be acquired at Sothebys in London in November 2018 for an unexpectedly low price. In the Russian Pictures auction, the work Church In The Snow changed hands for GBP 18,750.00 (€ 21,149.43) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of GBP 20,000.00 – 30,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Abraham Manievich achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Neige dans la forêt. 1913. in July 2021 with an auction result of CHF 305,300.00 (€ 283,992.82).

Dieses Kunstwerk von Abraham Manievich konnte im November 2018 bei Sothebys in London für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion Russian Pictures wechselte die Arbeit Church In The Snow für GBP 18.750,00 (€ 21.149,43) den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 20.000,00 – 30.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Abraham Manievich erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Neige dans la forêt. 1913. im Juli 2021 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von CHF 305.300,00 (€ 283.992,82).
