This price was achieved in the auction Contemporary Art at Artcurial in Paris and exceeded the previously set upper estimate of EUR 900.00 many times over. Admittedly, works by Abidin Dino have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work without title in March 2009 with an auction result of GBP 37,250.00 (€ 40,168.54).
