This work without title by Abdulrahim Sharif was sold in the Modern and Contemporary Arab, Iranian and Turkish Art Part II auction at Christies in Dubai in October 2012. The result of USD 20,000.00 (€ 15,434.48) was exactly at the lower end of the estimate range of USD 20,000.00 – 30,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Abdulrahim Sharif - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Triptych, which sold at auction in October 2007 for USD 67,000.00 (€ 46,309.10).

Diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Abdulrahim Sharif wurde im Oktober 2012 in der Auktion Modern and Contemporary Arab, Iranian and Turkish Art Part II bei Christies in Dubai versteigert. Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von USD 20.000,00 (€ 15.434,48) entsprach exakt dem unteren Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 20.000,00 – 30.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Abdulrahim Sharif mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Triptych beobachtet, die im Oktober 2007 für USD 67.000,00 (€ 46.309,10) versteigert wurde.
