Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work The Jazz Master by Abdulrahim Sharif was auctioned at Christies in Dubai in October 2010. Here, the upper estimate of USD 22,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for USD 22,500.00 (€ 16,194.04). However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Abdulrahim Sharif - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Triptych, which sold at auction in October 2007 for USD 67,000.00 (€ 46,309.10).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit The Jazz Master von Abdulrahim Sharif kam im Oktober 2010 bei Christies in Dubai zur Auktion. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von USD 22.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für USD 22.500,00 (€ 16.194,04) einen neuen Besitzer. Für andere Arbeiten von Abdulrahim Sharif mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Triptych beobachtet, die im Oktober 2007 für USD 67.000,00 (€ 46.309,10) versteigert wurde.
