This work without title by Abdullatif Al-Smoudi was sold in the Modern and Contemporary Arab, Iranian and Turkish Art Part II auction at Christies in Dubai in October 2012. The result of USD 10,000.00 (€ 7,717.24) was exactly at the lower end of the estimate range of USD 10,000.00 – 12,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Abdullatif Al-Smoudi achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Soul of the East in October 2007 with an auction result of USD 133,000.00 (€ 91,927.01).

Diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Abdullatif Al-Smoudi wurde im Oktober 2012 in der Auktion Modern and Contemporary Arab, Iranian and Turkish Art Part II bei Christies in Dubai versteigert. Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von USD 10.000,00 (€ 7.717,24) entsprach exakt dem unteren Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 10.000,00 – 12.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Abdullatif Al-Smoudi erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Soul of the East im Oktober 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 133.000,00 (€ 91.927,01).
