Upper estimate price exceeded by more than 100%
This artwork by Abdelkébir Rabi achieved an unexpectedly high price at Artcurial in Marrakech in December 2021. In the African Contemporary Art, Modern & Contemporary Art auction, the work Ht/B1, 2021 sold for MAD 350,000.00 (€ 33,088.88) - well above the upper estimate of MAD 120,000.00. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Abdelkébir Rabi; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot Composition, 2015 sold at auction in November this year with the realized price of MAD 721,600.00 (€ 66,087.13).
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Abdelkébir Rabi erzielte im Dezember 2021 bei Artcurial in Marrakesch einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion African Contemporary Art, Modern & Contemporary Art wurde die Arbeit Ht/B1, 2021 für MAD 350.000,00 (€ 33.088,88) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von MAD 120.000,00. Trotz des guten Ergebnisses ist dies nicht der höchste Zuschlag für ein Kunstwerk von Abdelkébir Rabi; den erzielte unter den von uns beobachteten Auktionen die Arbeit Composition, 2015 im November diesen Jahres mit dem Hammerpreis von MAD 721.600,00 (€ 66.087,13).
