Upper estimate price exceeded by more than 100%
This artwork by Abdul Hadi El-Gazzar achieved an unexpectedly high price at Bonhams in London in May this year. In the Modern and Contemporary Middle Eastern Art auction, the work Aswan (from the High Dam Series) sold for GBP 10,880.00 (€ 12,658.95) - well above the upper estimate of GBP 5,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Abdul Hadi El-Gazzar achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Construction Of The Suez Canal in March 2014 with an auction result of USD 1,023,750.00 (€ 743,086.30).
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Abdul Hadi El-Gazzar erzielte im Mai diesen Jahres bei Bonhams in London einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Modern and Contemporary Middle Eastern Art wurde die Arbeit Aswan (from the High Dam Series) für GBP 10.880,00 (€ 12.658,95) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von GBP 5.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Abdul Hadi El-Gazzar erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Construction Of The Suez Canal im März 2014 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 1.023.750,00 (€ 743.086,30).
