Auction result misses estimated price range
In June 2000 a collector was able to acquire the work Omar Khayyam Bookends by Abastenia St. Leger Eberle for USD 3,760.00 (€ 3,939.24). This price was achieved in the auction American Paintings at Christies in New York and was even below the estimate range of USD 4,000.00 – 6,000.00 set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Abastenia St. Leger Eberle achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work 'Sea Treasures' in November 2006 with an auction result of USD 144,000.00 (€ 108,589.10).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im Juni 2000 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Omar Khayyam Bookends von Abastenia St. Leger Eberle für USD 3.760,00 (€ 3.939,24) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion American Paintings bei Christies in New York erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von USD 4.000,00 – 6.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Abastenia St. Leger Eberle erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit 'Sea Treasures' im November 2006 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 144.000,00 (€ 108.589,10).
