Artwork auctioned at three times the upper estimate price
This work without title by Aaron Garber-Maikovska was worth USD 75,600.00 (€ 68,151.09) to a buyer in March last year. This price was achieved in the auction Post-War to Present at Christies in New York and exceeded the previously set upper estimate of USD 20,000.00 many times over. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Aaron Garber-Maikovska; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot without title sold at auction in May 2018 with the realized price of USD 156,250.00 (€ 133,890.32).
