In March 2005 Christies in New York held the auction Fine American Paintings, Drawings and Sculpture, which included the work Cows At The River'S Edge by Aaron Draper Shattuck. The »bidding war« ended at USD 12,000.00 (€ 9,252.83), 50% above the upper estimate. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Aaron Draper Shattuck - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Autumn In The White Mountains Near Jefferson Village, which sold at auction in September 2004 for USD 28,680.00 (€ 23,097.37).

Im März 2005 führte Christies in New York die Auktion Fine American Paintings, Drawings and Sculpture durch, in der auch die Arbeit Cows At The River'S Edge von Aaron Draper Shattuck zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von USD 12.000,00 (€ 9.252,83) und damit 50% über dem oberen Schätzpreis.
