Auction result fails to reach estimate
In April this year a collector was able to acquire the work Coastal scenery with a young woman in a summer dress by Aage Wang for DKK 1,500.00 (€ 201.22). This price was achieved in the auction Paintings, furniture and varia at Bruun Rasmussen and was even lower than the DKK 3,000.00 estimate set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Aage Wang achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Summer Days in September 2013 with an auction result of GBP 3,750.00 (€ 4,482.55).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt den Schätzpreis
Im April diesen Jahres konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Coastal scenery with a young woman in a summer dress von Aage Wang für DKK 1.500,00 (€ 201,22) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Paintings, furniture and varia bei Bruun Rasmussen erzielt und lag noch unterhalb des vom Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreises von DKK 3.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Aage Wang erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Summer Days im September 2013 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 3.750,00 (€ 4.482,55).
