Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In November 2006 Christies in London held the auction British, Continental and Russian Pictures, which included the work His Eminence Resting by Angelo Zoffoli. The »bidding war« ended at GBP 600.00 (€ 891.02), 20% above the upper estimate. Other works by Angelo Zoffoli have achieved even higher prices, we observed the highest auction result so far of GBP 1,200.00 (€ 1,770.25) in September 2006 for the work Cardinals studying a map.

Im November 2006 führte Christies in London die Auktion British, Continental and Russian Pictures durch, in der auch die Arbeit His Eminence Resting von Angelo Zoffoli zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von GBP 600,00 (€ 891,02) und damit 20% über dem oberen Schätzpreis.
