In June this year Bruun Rasmussen held the auction Paintings, drawings and icons, which included the work A view of Sommerspiret at the Cliffs of Møn in sunlight by Anton Edvard Kjeldrup. The »bidding war« ended at DKK 42,000.00 (€ 5,638.46), 40% above the upper estimate. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Anton Edvard Kjeldrup - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Die Kreidefelsen von Møn., which sold at auction in November 2019 for EUR 12,500.00.
Oberer Schätzpreis um 40 % übertroffen
Im Juni diesen Jahres führte Bruun Rasmussen die Auktion Paintings, drawings and icons durch, in der auch die Arbeit A view of Sommerspiret at the Cliffs of Møn in sunlight von Anton Edvard Kjeldrup zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von DKK 42.000,00 (€ 5.638,46) und damit 40% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Für andere Arbeiten von Anton Edvard Kjeldrup mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Die Kreidefelsen von Møn. beobachtet, die im November 2019 für EUR 12.500,00 versteigert wurde.
