Statement, Series F# staret 2021
With the regularly recurring rhythm of the Line, the theme Formation - F# - was createt in 2021 .
The series F# -"Formation - describes the rhythm, the silence and the movement of the line which, when repeated, develops into a meditative experience.
This drawings which does not represent an object, an event, a draft/sketch , or an allusion, the line referse to itself, it documents nothing. It stores the physical process of drawing, but it does not aim to show the process.
It crystallizes the movement of elaboration (of bringing it out into open). It invites you to complete it, it is made in the process of doing it, it could bring a furthe step. You can not force or produce a mood.
Here you are moving in the air of not knowing. The lines become indefinable movements which quickly advance to limits of our consciousness; they are the origin of our gestures, our feelings.
The line gives me a great fascination, it is not the line which has a beginning or an eind, or a line which is connecting between different points, or lines which ar forming a shape or causing a shadow, actually it is about the space between the lines which continuos in all directions.
A line is made out of many dots but the speed of looking at makes it a line.
