Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In December 2014 Sothebys in New York held the auction Israeli & International Art, which included the work Merda D'Artista by Zoya Cherkassky-Nnadi. Here, the upper estimate of USD 15,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for USD 16,250.00 (€ 13,428.64). However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Zoya Cherkassky-Nnadi - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Everybody Is Cool, which sold at auction in December 2016 for USD 37,500.00 (€ 35,538.29).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im Dezember 2014 führte Sothebys in New York die Auktion Israeli & International Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Merda D'Artista von Zoya Cherkassky-Nnadi zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von USD 15.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für USD 16.250,00 (€ 13.428,64) einen neuen Besitzer. Für andere Arbeiten von Zoya Cherkassky-Nnadi mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Everybody Is Cool beobachtet, die im Dezember 2016 für USD 37.500,00 (€ 35.538,29) versteigert wurde.
