Artwork auctioned at three times the upper estimate price
The work Kaligrafitti, EKF SNW by Ziggy was worth SEK 11,000.00 (€ 1,128.79) to a buyer in March 2010. This price was achieved in the auction Noah's ark Charity auction H024 at Bukowski in Stockholm and exceeded the previously set upper estimate of SEK 3,000.00 many times over. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Ziggy; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot "Endast två ting äro svarta" (Only two things are black) sold at auction in March 2011 with the realized price of SEK 14,000.00 (€ 1,562.57).
