Auction result misses estimated price range
In April last year a collector was able to acquire the work Holding the War Horses by Zhuo Shu Liang for USD 28,050.00 (€ 26,620.48). This price was achieved in the auction Western Art at Bonhams in Los Angeles and was even below the estimate range of USD 30,000.00 – 50,000.00 set by the auction house. Admittedly, works by Zhuo Shu Liang have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Transferring the Bear Knife in October 2020 with an auction result of USD 143,750.00 (€ 123,422.34).
