Artwork auctioned at four times the upper estimate price
When the work Calligraphy In Running Script by Zhumo Fashi was auctioned at Bonhams in Hong Kong in April 2019, the result exceeded expectations many times over. The upper estimate was set at a - in retrospect quite modest - HKD 5,000.00 but the actual price achieved was more than four times as high at HKD 24,225.00 (€ 2,757.51). Admittedly, works by Zhumo Fashi have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Calligraphy In Running Script in April 2019 with an auction result of HKD 113,125.00 (€ 12,876.92).
Kunstwerk zum Vierfachen des oberen Schätzpreises versteigert
Als die Arbeit Calligraphy In Running Script von Zhumo Fashi im April 2019 bei Bonhams in Hong Kong versteigert wurde, übertraf das Ergebnis die Erwartungen um ein Vielfaches. Der obere Schätzpreis war mit – rückwirkend betrachtet recht bescheidenen – HKD 5.000,00 angesetzt, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis hingegen war mit HKD 24.225,00 (€ 2.757,51) mehr als viermal so hoch. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Zhumo Fashi auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Calligraphy In Running Script im April 2019 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 113.125,00 (€ 12.876,92).
