Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Carnival by Zhou Xue was auctioned at Christies in Shanghai in September 2019. The price achieved of CNY 60,000.00 (€ 7,697.39) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as CNY 50,000.00 – 70,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Zhou Xue - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Secret Garden, which sold at auction in September 2017 for CNY 156,000.00 (€ 19,848.30).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Carnival von Zhou Xue kam im September 2019 bei Christies in Shanghai zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von CNY 60.000,00 (€ 7.697,39) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit CNY 50.000,00 – 70.000,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Zhou Xue mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Secret Garden beobachtet, die im September 2017 für CNY 156.000,00 (€ 19.848,30) versteigert wurde.
