Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Bow Without An Arrow No.1 (Executed In 2011) by Zheng Lu was sold in the Asian 20th Century and Contemporary Art auction at China Guardian in Hong Kong in April 2021. The price achieved of HKD 448,400.00 (€ 48,008.25) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 300,000.00 – 500,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Zheng Lu - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Secret Scents, which sold at auction in September 2019 for CNY 900,000.00 (€ 115,460.80).
