The work Bamboo And Orchid by Zhao Ziyong was auctioned at China Guardian in Hong Kong in October 2018. The price achieved of HKD 59,000.00 (€ 6,643.49) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 50,000.00 – 80,000.00. Other works by Zhao Ziyong have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in November 2006 the work Orchid and Bamboo was auctioned for HKD 102,000.00 (€ 9,891.56).
