Artwork auctioned at four times the upper estimate price
The work Horse by Zhao Shuru was worth HKD 69,600.00 (€ 8,918.95) to a buyer in October last year. This price was achieved in the auction Fine Chinese Paintings and Calligraphy at China Guardian and exceeded the previously set upper estimate of HKD 15,000.00 many times over. Admittedly, works by Zhao Shuru have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Cranes At Sunrise in October 2018 with an auction result of HKD 475,000.00 (€ 53,485.70).

Die Arbeit Horse von Zhao Shuru war einem Käufer im Oktober letzten Jahres HKD 69.600,00 (€ 8.918,95) wert. Dieser Preise wurde in der Auktion Fine Chinese Paintings and Calligraphy bei China Guardian erzielt und übertraf den zuvor angesetzten oberen Schätzpreis von HKD 15.000,00 um ein Vielfaches. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Zhao Shuru auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Cranes At Sunrise im Oktober 2018 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 475.000,00 (€ 53.485,70).
