Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In November last year Bonhams in London held the auction Asian Art, which included the work Flowers in a Gu vase by Zhao Shuru. Here, the upper estimate of GBP 2,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for GBP 2,295.00 (€ 2,659.38). Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Zhao Shuru achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Cranes At Sunrise in October 2018 with an auction result of HKD 475,000.00 (€ 53,485.70).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im November letzten Jahres führte Bonhams in London die Auktion Asian Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Flowers in a Gu vase von Zhao Shuru zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von GBP 2.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für GBP 2.295,00 (€ 2.659,38) einen neuen Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Zhao Shuru erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Cranes At Sunrise im Oktober 2018 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 475.000,00 (€ 53.485,70).
