Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Flowers and insect by Zhao Shuru was sold in the Fine Classical Chinese Paintings auction at Sothebys in Hong Kong in April last year. The price achieved of HKD 37,800.00 (€ 4,570.30) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 30,000.00 – 50,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Zhao Shuru achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Cranes At Sunrise in October 2018 with an auction result of HKD 475,000.00 (€ 53,485.70).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Flowers and insect von Zhao Shuru wurde im April letzten Jahres in der Auktion Fine Classical Chinese Paintings bei Sothebys in Hong Kong versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 37.800,00 (€ 4.570,30) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 30.000,00 – 50.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Zhao Shuru erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Cranes At Sunrise im Oktober 2018 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 475.000,00 (€ 53.485,70).
