The work Amaranth And Cricket by Zhao Shuru was sold in the Exquisite Eye: Chinese Paintings Online auction at Christies in Hong Kong in May 2021. The »bidding war« ended at HKD 75,000.00 (€ 7,928.08), 50% above the upper estimate. Admittedly, works by Zhao Shuru have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Cranes At Sunrise in October 2018 with an auction result of HKD 475,000.00 (€ 53,485.70).

Die Arbeit Amaranth And Cricket von Zhao Shuru wurde im Mai 2021 in der Auktion Exquisite Eye: Chinese Paintings Online bei Christies in Hong Kong versteigert. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von HKD 75.000,00 (€ 7.928,08) und damit 50% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Zhao Shuru auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Cranes At Sunrise im Oktober 2018 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 475.000,00 (€ 53.485,70).
