A top price for Zhao Bei
When the work Bamboo by Zhao Bei was auctioned at China Guardian in Hong Kong in April 2021, the result exceeded expectations many times over. The upper estimate was set at a - in retrospect quite modest - HKD 20,000.00 but the actual price achieved was more than four times as high at HKD 92,040.00 (€ 9,854.32). This high result makes Bamboo the most expensive artwork by Zhao Bei that we have observed at auctions so far.
Ein Spitzenpreis für Zhao Bei
Als die Arbeit Bamboo von Zhao Bei im April 2021 bei China Guardian in Hong Kong versteigert wurde, übertraf das Ergebnis die Erwartungen um ein Vielfaches. Der obere Schätzpreis war mit – rückwirkend betrachtet recht bescheidenen – HKD 20.000,00 angesetzt, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis hingegen war mit HKD 92.040,00 (€ 9.854,32) mehr als viermal so hoch. Dieses hohe Ergebnis macht Bamboo zu dem teuersten Kunstwerk von Zhao Bei, das wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachtet haben.
