Chinese Paintings From the Yanqinzhai Collection 「硯琴齋」珍藏中國書畫 Lot 601-731 「杯裏紫茶香代酒，琴中綠水靜留賓」 ——硯琴齋主之書畫收藏 硯琴齋主，祖籍廣東汕頭，生於香港。早年從事貿易，經商之餘耽於傳統藝術。上世紀七十年代，師從本港名家范又新習書，八十年代初先後隨容思澤、吳景略、蔡德允諸師習操縵，並蒐訪歷代琴器，復考其沿革，珍藏唐宋元明以來古斲甚夥。數十年來，以琴會友，多次於港、臺和澳門各大學及博物館舉辦古琴展覽及講座，竭心盡力於古琴藝術之普及推廣。 絲桐之外，硯琴齋主亦雅好丹青�

Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Listening to the Waterfall by Zhang Zongxiang was auctioned at Bonhams in Hong Kong in October 2021. The price achieved of HKD 6,375.00 (€ 709.13) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 5,000.00 – 8,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Zhang Zongxiang achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Waterfal, Calligraphy In Cursive Script in April 2021 with an auction result of HKD 84,960.00 (€ 9,096.30).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Listening to the Waterfall von Zhang Zongxiang kam im Oktober 2021 bei Bonhams in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 6.375,00 (€ 709,13) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 5.000,00 – 8.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Zhang Zongxiang erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Waterfal, Calligraphy In Cursive Script im April 2021 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 84.960,00 (€ 9.096,30).
