Auction result well in line with expectations
The work COMPASSIONATE GUANYIN by Zhang Yirong was auctioned at Christies in Shanghai in September 2018. It changed hands for a price of CNY 36,000.00 (€ 4,510.07) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of CNY 20,000.00 – 40,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Zhang Yirong - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Peony, which sold at auction in May 2016 for HKD 100,000.00 (€ 11,558.15).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit COMPASSIONATE GUANYIN von Zhang Yirong kam im September 2018 bei Christies in Shanghai zur Auktion. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von CNY 36.000,00 (€ 4.510,07) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von CNY 20.000,00 – 40.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Zhang Yirong mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Peony beobachtet, die im Mai 2016 für HKD 100.000,00 (€ 11.558,15) versteigert wurde.
