Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Two Birds and Flowers by Zhang Shuqi was sold in the Fine Chinese Paintings auction at Christies in New York in September 2017. The price achieved of USD 9,375.00 (€ 7,936.17) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 5,000.00 – 12,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Zhang Shuqi achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Doves and Flowers in June 2015 with an auction result of HKD 5,080,000.00 (€ 587,520.17).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Two Birds and Flowers von Zhang Shuqi wurde im September 2017 in der Auktion Fine Chinese Paintings bei Christies in New York versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 9.375,00 (€ 7.936,17) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 5.000,00 – 12.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Zhang Shuqi erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Doves and Flowers im Juni 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 5.080.000,00 (€ 587.520,17).
