The work Peacock by Zhang Shuqi was worth HKD 342,200.00 (€ 40,269.84) to a buyer in October 2016. This price was achieved in the auction Fine Modern Chinese Paintings and Calligraphy at POLY in Hong Kong and exceeded the previously set upper estimate of HKD 80,000.00 many times over. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Zhang Shuqi achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Doves and Flowers in June 2015 with an auction result of HKD 5,080,000.00 (€ 587,520.17).

Die Arbeit Peacock von Zhang Shuqi war einem Käufer im Oktober 2016 HKD 342.200,00 (€ 40.269,84) wert. Dieser Preise wurde in der Auktion Fine Modern Chinese Paintings and Calligraphy bei POLY in Hong Kong erzielt und übertraf den zuvor angesetzten oberen Schätzpreis von HKD 80.000,00 um ein Vielfaches. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Zhang Shuqi erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Doves and Flowers im Juni 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 5.080.000,00 (€ 587.520,17).
