In October 2016 POLY in Hong Kong held the auction Fine Modern Chinese Paintings and Calligraphy, which included the work Flower And Bird by Zhang Shuqi. The »bidding war« ended at HKD 64,900.00 (€ 7,637.38), 30% above the upper estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Zhang Shuqi achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Doves and Flowers in June 2015 with an auction result of HKD 5,080,000.00 (€ 587,520.17).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 30 % übertroffen
Im Oktober 2016 führte POLY in Hong Kong die Auktion Fine Modern Chinese Paintings and Calligraphy durch, in der auch die Arbeit Flower And Bird von Zhang Shuqi zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von HKD 64.900,00 (€ 7.637,38) und damit 30% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Zhang Shuqi erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Doves and Flowers im Juni 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 5.080.000,00 (€ 587.520,17).
