Sold at the upper estimate price
In May 2018 Christies in Hong Kong held the auction Fine Chinese Modern Paintings, which included the work Crane by Zhang Shuqi. The auction ended at the price of HKD 100,000.00 (€ 10,925.45), which exactly corresponded to the upper end of the estimated price range of HKD 80,000.00 – 100,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Zhang Shuqi achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Doves and Flowers in June 2015 with an auction result of HKD 5,080,000.00 (€ 587,520.17).
Zuschlag beim oberen Schätzpreis
Im Mai 2018 führte Christies in Hong Kong die Auktion Fine Chinese Modern Paintings durch, in der auch die Arbeit Crane von Zhang Shuqi zur Versteigerung kam. Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von HKD 100.000,00 (€ 10.925,45) entsprach exakt dem oberen Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von HKD 80.000,00 – 100.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Zhang Shuqi erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Doves and Flowers im Juni 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 5.080.000,00 (€ 587.520,17).
