The work Birds and Blossom by Zhang Shuqi was sold in the Fine Chinese Paintings auction at Christies in New York in March 2018. It achieved a price of USD 27,500.00 (€ 22,321.43), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 72%. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Zhang Shuqi achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Doves and Flowers in June 2015 with an auction result of HKD 5,080,000.00 (€ 587,520.17).

Die Arbeit Birds and Blossom von Zhang Shuqi wurde im März 2018 in der Auktion Fine Chinese Paintings bei Christies in New York versteigert. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von USD 27.500,00 (€ 22.321,43) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 72%. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Zhang Shuqi erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Doves and Flowers im Juni 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 5.080.000,00 (€ 587.520,17).
