Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Waterfall by Zhang Shoucheng was sold in the Asian Art auction at Bonhams in May this year. The price achieved of AUD 1,045.50 (€ 635.21) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as AUD 800.00 – 1,200.00. Admittedly, works by Zhang Shoucheng have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Landscape in May 2017 with an auction result of HKD 53,100.00 (€ 6,063.31).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Waterfall von Zhang Shoucheng wurde im Mai diesen Jahres in der Auktion Asian Art bei Bonhams versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von AUD 1.045,50 (€ 635,21) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit AUD 800,00 – 1.200,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Zhang Shoucheng auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Landscape im Mai 2017 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 53.100,00 (€ 6.063,31).
