Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In October 2021 China Guardian held the auction Fine Chinese Paintings and Calligraphy, which included the work Family Correspondence by Zhang Shizhao. The »bidding war« ended at HKD 30,000.00 (€ 3,337.08), 20% above the upper estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Zhang Shizhao achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Calligraphy In Running Script in October this year with an auction result of HKD 936,000.00 (€ 113,191.52).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im Oktober 2021 führte China Guardian die Auktion Fine Chinese Paintings and Calligraphy durch, in der auch die Arbeit Family Correspondence von Zhang Shizhao zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von HKD 30.000,00 (€ 3.337,08) und damit 20% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Zhang Shizhao erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Calligraphy In Running Script im Oktober diesen Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 936.000,00 (€ 113.191,52).
