Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Fortune and Longevity by Zhang Shaoshi was auctioned at Christies in Hong Kong in December last year. The price achieved of HKD 40,320.00 (€ 4,831.77) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 30,000.00 – 50,000.00. Admittedly, works by Zhang Shaoshi have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Flowers in May 2016 with an auction result of HKD 225,000.00 (€ 26,005.84).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Fortune and Longevity von Zhang Shaoshi kam im Dezember letzten Jahres bei Christies in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 40.320,00 (€ 4.831,77) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 30.000,00 – 50.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Zhang Shaoshi auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Flowers im Mai 2016 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 225.000,00 (€ 26.005,84).
