A top price for Zhang Shaoshi
This artwork by Zhang Shaoshi achieved an unexpectedly high price at Sothebys in Hong Kong in May 2016. In the Fine Chinese Paintings auction, the work Flowers sold for HKD 225,000.00 (€ 26,005.84) - well above the upper estimate of HKD 120,000.00. This high result makes Flowers the most expensive artwork by Zhang Shaoshi that we have observed at auctions so far.

Dieses Kunstwerk von Zhang Shaoshi erzielte im Mai 2016 bei Sothebys in Hong Kong einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Fine Chinese Paintings wurde die Arbeit Flowers für HKD 225.000,00 (€ 26.005,84) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von HKD 120.000,00. Dieses hohe Ergebnis macht Flowers zu dem teuersten Kunstwerk von Zhang Shaoshi, das wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachtet haben.
