Auction result misses estimated price range
In December last year a collector was able to acquire the work Fire and Water, 1992 by Zhang Jianjun for USD 2,550.00 (€ 2,383.62). This price was achieved in the auction Chinese Paintings Online 20th century and Beyond! at Bonhams and was even below the estimate range of USD 4,000.00 – 6,000.00 set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Zhang Jianjun achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Nature Series No. 27 - 1988 in October 2016 with an auction result of HKD 625,000.00 (€ 73,549.53).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im Dezember letzten Jahres konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Fire and Water, 1992 von Zhang Jianjun für USD 2.550,00 (€ 2.383,62) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Chinese Paintings Online 20th century and Beyond! bei Bonhams erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von USD 4.000,00 – 6.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Zhang Jianjun erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Nature Series No. 27 - 1988 im Oktober 2016 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 625.000,00 (€ 73.549,53).
