Auction result misses estimated price range
In April 2021 a collector was able to acquire the work Pandas Hehe Xiexie by Zhang Huan for HKD 27,500.00 (€ 2,944.31). This price was achieved in the auction Modern and Contemporary Art Online at Christies in Hong Kong and was even below the estimate range of HKD 30,000.00 – 50,000.00 set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Zhang Huan achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Family Tree in February 2014 with an auction result of GBP 290,500.00 (€ 352,446.40).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im April 2021 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Pandas Hehe Xiexie von Zhang Huan für HKD 27.500,00 (€ 2.944,31) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Modern and Contemporary Art Online bei Christies in Hong Kong erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von HKD 30.000,00 – 50.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Zhang Huan erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Family Tree im Februar 2014 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 290.500,00 (€ 352.446,40).
