Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work SILENCE HITS ON THE MOUTH GROWING MORE SILENCE by Zhai Liang was auctioned at Christies in Shanghai in September 2019. Here, the upper estimate of CNY 20,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for CNY 22,800.00 (€ 2,925.01). However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Zhai Liang - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work The Logic of Fostering a Hexagon, which sold at auction in October 2015 for CNY 68,750.00 (€ 9,856.12).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit SILENCE HITS ON THE MOUTH GROWING MORE SILENCE von Zhai Liang kam im September 2019 bei Christies in Shanghai zur Auktion. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von CNY 20.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für CNY 22.800,00 (€ 2.925,01) einen neuen Besitzer. Für andere Arbeiten von Zhai Liang mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit The Logic of Fostering a Hexagon beobachtet, die im Oktober 2015 für CNY 68.750,00 (€ 9.856,12) versteigert wurde.
