This artwork by Zeng Yandong achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in Hong Kong in May 2012. In the Fine Chinese Classical Paintings and Calligraphy auction, the work Daily Living sold for HKD 200,000.00 (€ 20,834.68) - well above the upper estimate of HKD 100,000.00. Admittedly, works by Zeng Yandong have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Figures in April this year with an auction result of HKD 132,000.00 (€ 134,797.83).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 100 % übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Zeng Yandong erzielte im Mai 2012 bei Christies in Hong Kong einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Fine Chinese Classical Paintings and Calligraphy wurde die Arbeit Daily Living für HKD 200.000,00 (€ 20.834,68) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von HKD 100.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Zeng Yandong auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Figures im April diesen Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 132.000,00 (€ 134.797,83).
